Robotization is imperative and urgent

The International Federation of Robotics reports a surge in robot installations in the EU, with Poland leading the trend. Investment in automation and intralogistics is driving this shift.

The latest data from the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) reflects the trend of using robots in various sectors. According to the IFR, 72,000 robots were installed in the European Union´s (EU) 27 member states in 2022.

Robot installations in Poland – one of the top 5 adopting countries within the EU – had been on a solid upward trajectory for nine years. In Poland, investments in digitalization and automation technologies will benefit from €160 bn in EU investment support between 2021 and 2027, showing direction to the other Central and Eastern European countries.

Adequate intralogistics transport structures are a prerequisite for all industries to withstand the ever-increasing cost pressure in the future.

This is based on comprehensive automation:

  • Autonomous movement and autonomous logistics robots are critical components of „intralogistics 4.0”. They are used for storage, movement and preparation for delivery.
  • Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) offer a choice when flexible transportation is required in manufacturing processes.

Whatever robot technology your company needs, companies in Centra European Automation Holding: Auware Engineering, Antra ID & Automa CZ offer a range of technologies and services that will secure the success of your digital transformation journey, from design to continuous service operations.
